GoTo Connect facilitates remote collaboration. This is especially valuable for our company with dispersed teams and adopting remote work arrangements, allowing employees to communicate effectively regardless of their physical location. In addition, we reduced costs associated with traditional phone systems and hardware as the pay-as-you-go model and centralized management contribute to cost-effectiveness inside our organization.

We use GoTo Connect for our VOIP phone system and are very pleased with the voice quality, reliability, cost and service. My business partner and I use GoTo Connect for remote access of our office computers, which is also a good value, very reliable and exceptionally fast (data rate fast).

GoTo connect bind my company employees and customers worldwide to share all the information. It helps to manage video conferencing, meetings via on the go. It provides the easiest user interface. GoTo connect is very fast and reliable so we usually trust and use it for most of the communication tasks.

Considering we are a remote-first company, We use GoTo Connect as the central communication channel to collaborate internally with the teams and the client. The seamless communication between the teams has led to an increase in efficiency in the past couple of years. Additionally, it has facilitated real-time communication with the clients.

GoTo Connect has been very great as a video conferencing solution that allows for easy communication and collaboration via chats and meetings – especially in a remote environment. Furthermore, it has had recent updates, which has improved its overall functionality. With its recent updates, it has also helped with syncing calls, on my mobile, to calls on my PC, which is a plus as I am always on the go.

Scheduling and coordinating meetings; has been effective for 100+ people so far. Furthermore, the file sharing and collaboration has always been a plus, so organizing meetings have never been an issue, and audio and video quality is often times never an issue. Once it fixes some technology bugs and more people are using the program, it should be perfect.

We needed to update and modernize our exiting phone system which was antiquated and didn't provide any modern functions. We needed a system that worked for a staff that was more dispersed and not at their desks much of the time.

  • They are trying to create an all-in-one app, but they are doing this by purchasing other apps and trying to integrate them rather than building it them themselves. This leads to a less than ideal experience.
We are a simple organization and if you need to modernize an old phone system and need something fairly simple this will definitely work. However, much of the functionality seems to be geared towards bigger organizations with call center functionality. While the application has been better than what we had, there has been frustration form users over little things that seem to be missing for the individual user while many of the updates seem to focus on things useful for bigger organizations. One of the issues I have is that GOTO doesn't seem to to address some of the simple needs. They seemed focused on expanding the software rather than fixing some simple, outstanding issues that impact quality of life and make it frustrating for users. That makes it harder to recommend.

Go To Connect offer a very helpful and unique phone cloud system where you can manage multiple things at one admin portal.
I could easily sync my phone, call, scheduled meetings, team chats and groups all in one place.

I was using it for my calendar and and query management in a marketing company but it very useful in other different industries as well

I would really recommended this software to Business Owners and Sales people to keep themselves on top of the communication level with their sakeholders

GoTo Connect needs to attract more users on its platform so people can switch easily. If a client is not comfortable to switch from his previous software he might not move to GoTo Connect. In that scenario we would have to move to his software to progress with our communication success

We have a few remote workers that work on different days that answer phone calls for our office, and the phone mapping, as well as scheduling options, make it so easy to set things up and forget about it! We also had an easy time setting up a phone tree that helped direct callers to the correct person for their specific needs within our office.

GoTo Connect is the phone system we use for all employees here at our company. We have phone sets throughout the office and some of our remote employees have phone sets at their home offices as well. We also have the option of using the app on the smartphone which works quite well. This was useful during the start of the pandemic when our office was closed. We also receive voicemails to email via mp3 which is an improvement over our last phone system which was just an analog handset connected to a landline.

GoTo Connect is like a VoIP telephony portal for conferencing and video conferencing, instant messaging, recording, PBX and much more. The platform works very well for me, thanks to its flexibility, ease of use and multiple options it helps me to keep in touch remotely with my students easily without much effort.We are currently working on web development and other collaborations, best of all GoTo Connect has good video/audio quality and is very easy for me and my students to use.

We started with Jive, and as it transitioned to GoTo Connect, then GoTo Connect we stuck with it. We use this primarily as our main phone system. All incoming calls are routed through the virtual assistant and then into the phone map. I currently have 2 locations where we use the physical desk phones and then multiple users using the phone app. We have 7 physical phones currently. When we started with Jive, we had 2 divisions within the company. A landscape division and a power washing division. We have since sold off the power washing to focus on the landscaping. We have a small office so being able to clearly and easily route the calls with the virtual assistant is a huge plus. During COVID it was easy to have our office staff work remotely as the VOIP phones are easily plugged into any internet source.

I like the flexibility and not having to call someone to change the system. It's easily managed by yourself. You can add or remove options in the virtual assistant and easily direct calls however you want. It's nice to be able to be flexible if employees have to work remotely, the phone can go home with them and is easily connected. Or just running the phone off the desktop app or mobile app. Voicemails are emailed to you and the same with virtual fax, it's all done via email and is super convenient. If you're looking for a basic 1 line system, this is probably not the right fit, there are cheaper and easier options... We started with OOMA but outgrew it. I just like the fact you can grow or shrink the platform to whatever you need.

We mostly use GoTo Connect as a phone system within our company. VOIP is nice to use at our remote mine sites where we only require an internet connection to make it work. It helps to keep people connected, and we've deployed Yealink video phones. Hence, we have instant video calls to accompany the audio portion which is a big help in keeping people connected when working remotely.

Very good as a cost-effective solution to voice communications where users are distributed across the country or further across the globe. We're a mining company and often work on the side of a mountain or underground where traditional telephone service does not reach, so as long as we have internet, it can even be satellite or a cellular internet hub, we can make this service work.

GoTo Connect was able to combine individual business needs for our stores, our call center, and remote workers into one seamless application. While we faced some challenges because our business was unique, GoTo Connect has been helpful in finding ways to have our needs met, and they are continuing to upgrade their services. Our business is unique in a way where we have public stores that have a different way of fielding calls than our call center does. With the use of dial plans, GoTo Connect Contact Center, ring groups, and more, we were able to move all our needs to their company.

GoTo Meeting is a valuable resource for gathering colleagues in conversation about issues we need to address when we cannot be together in person. We are able to host meetings with everyone in the company. Screen sharing during meetings helps everyone to see and discuss the topics and issues we face. We do not have to send screen shots or docs to the group for their review, they can simply look on their screen to see the information.

We use the GoTo Connect for our On Call (after hours calls). It is great for I am able to see who calls and if the on call technician reached out to the customer. I like that I am able to get emails of each call to which really helps after the weekend. Go To Connect is rather easy to use.
We love that we can see if our technician has returned the calls after hours or not.

  • If it could be set for one on technician each day instead of all phones going off each day.
Even if the phone service is not working in our office at least GoTo Connect works and calls our phones. We had a time that during the holiday the phones were not being forwarded on Memorial Day I was able to go into the website and change for all the phones to go to our technician that was on call.

GoTo Connect is the phone system used by our case management department both with in house employees and at home employees. We also use it to conduct meetings and have training sessions. We have multiple lines that we assign users to based on skill, position, need etc. We also have a receptionist and customer service workers that field and reroute calls.

It is our primary telephone system. We also use it during the pandemic to work remotely. That function is completely transparent to our clients. We have 42 independent contractors. Each has a voice mail. They have the option of answering calls immediately or of getting their voice messages by e-mail.

GoToConnect was used in my organization as a way to keep up with day-to-day tasks between employees. The need stemmed from everyone working in separate office spaces, yet our work had some overlap. Corresponding through e-mail sometimes can get messy and it is important to keep administrative type work in a different "space" than typical services with clients. It's been easy to integrate new users and even a new office manager- which solves the problem of onboarding for our evolving team.
  • Accessibility and integration via desktop app or browser is convenient.
  • Tracking - Timestamps, voicemails, favoriting and other abilities allow for abundant ways to track calls/chats.
  • Simplicity - The ease of use is high given that symbols and color schemes are very straightforward. This is a benefit to an older workforce who may not be as technically inclined and allows for people of all ages to understand how to use the platform quickly.
  • Not as modern as some other platforms available - This could be seen as a pro or a con, but having additional options like color scheme, statuses, and profile picture options make the user experience more personalized and fun.
  • Lack of integration - Being able to link more than just your personal email to GoToConnect would be handy, such as time-tracking or your calendar.
  • Uncertain if meetings are private - Anyone with a link can join a meeting, therefore I question how easy it is for someone outside of the company to join a meeting that was not meant for them. Maybe a password option would add a buffer of security.
GoToConnect is well-suited to staff who can appreciate a simple, straightforward add-on to their workday. If this platform is meant to be a small aspect of the day and just to support tasks here and there then I would say this is the better option compared to other available platforms. However, GoToConnect lacks some modern touches and additional features that can really make a difference if you are using it often day-to-day. I would recommend other platforms for calls/texts/meetings because they are more fun to use and offer small features that I have noticed more of a benefit to people who rely on its functions. Limitations of only 4 participants with the Basic plan forces you to upgrade your subscription

GoToConnect Hosted VoIP is the telephone system in use here at C.A. Goldberg, PLLC. I have used many other phone systems but have found GoToConnect to be the most user friendly and have a really awesome support staff. Instead of having to have technical support in house, we can easily add or remove phones, have moved offices with no loss of phone connectivity, have implemented the 'Follow Me' functionality for key employees, set up new equipment for conference calling, SO easily designed and developed an auto attendant process with the help of GoToConnect support personnel - all with having little to know real phone technical expertise.
  • GoToConnect Customer Service is exceptional - you get to a knowledgeable representative quickly and they stay with you until the issue is resolved. If there is a reason for them to call you back, they actually do!
  • Online Knowledge based support - if you have a question regarding how to do something, just google it! For example, "How do I set up a schedule in GoToConnect"? And, presto, the link to the documentation pops up. They have helpful videos and, if you still can't figure out, live help is always available.
  • RELIABILITY - GoToConnect is up and at 'em 24/7, which is crucial in our service based business.
  • GoToConnect has exceedingly robust reporting - when we need to track calls, productivity, etc. - we can get it from our reporting.
  • So far, I have not seen any lack in the GoToConnect functionality, perhaps because our needs are fairly basic. One thing that would be nice is to be able to assign multiple people to get emails for voicemail from a single extension. That is, instead of just sending email to the extensions user or one email address, I would like to be able to have the ability to send to several.
GoToConnect Hosted VoIP has been extremely well suited for our office as it is an extremely cost effective way for us to implement an extremely robust system. Even when we had remote personnel working, we were able to just ship them a phone, have them plug in, and it was as if they were just sitting in the office next door. Again, GoToConnect makes management of the phone system so very easy. If we were a much larger shop and had the need for our own technical staff AND were already wired for phones, there might be a scenario where long term there might be less expensive option than GoToConnect Hosted VoIP. But this meets our needs perfectly!

I use GoToConnect for my business number. I have 2 lines, one for new customers, one for ongoing customers so we can split the calls. I have a physical phone which we hardly ever use, but is in the location of my business, and my partner and I use our cellphones with the app to take the calls on our cells.
  • Sends an email with voicemails so I can make sure to reply ASAP.
  • Customer service was great when I needed them at the begining. Patient, responsive, and knowledgable. The last time I had an issue it was not so great, so not sure if the quality is going down or it was just bad luck.
  • When I picked up a call in Guatemala, the call would fall constantly. I was able to talk a little but it was a difficult connection.
  • The app has glitches. It might get "stuck" on a call and not let you hang up. It sometimes logs out... but usually with a quick reset it works out again.
  • Some local calls sound choppy, or the other end cannot hear me. I need to hang up and call again. Usually the physical phone works a little better than the cell app for this issue
Good for small companies that need flexibility and affordability. It has voicemail setups, allows us to have different extensions, saves voicemails, etc. I have not been able to use all the options and tools yet. But there are many positive options.

We use GoToConnect for our phone system. We have had no issues or problems with it. The feature I most like is that you can receive voice messages that are left by callers to the office by checking email no matter where in the world you are at the moment (as long as you have email access of course). You always know right away when someone has left a voicemail. This means that I can respond right away if need be. The system is set up so that callers can directly reach anyone in the office at their own personal extension and the administrative functions (billing and deleting messages, etc.) are very easy to do. The support staff has always been responsive and helpful whenever we have had any questions (as noted, we have had no negative issues at all in the 1-year or so that we have had the service). Our firm is very pleased.

If I am on vacation I can always keep track of phone calls so there is never an overload of messages to return once back in the office.

GoToConnect is used as our agency VoiP phone & text platform. Prior to using GoToConnect we were using Google Voice for the agency, as we grew in employee count we needed ways to transfer calls, place calls on hold, and add callers to conference calls. With GoToConnect we're able to handle all these tasks as well as text messaging directly from our desktop.

Overall I'm very happy with the service. It's affordable, not too difficult to navigate once you're familiar with the admin panel, and very easy to use on the front end.

I use all the bundled services like fax through email, virtual meetings, and phone. The app is great for on-the-go checking of the voicemail and taking calls, etc.

GoTo Connect is used in many ways within our organization. The main reason we chose to implement the GoTo service within our organization is for the ease of use and for connecting our team digitally across multiple platforms. We needed an alternative to Webex and looked at a few alternatives but found the encompassing capabilities of GoTo to cover all of our needs. We use it both domestically and internationally seamlessly and without any issues.

  • Redesigning of the application makes it difficult for users to re-learn simple settings
  • The lack of ability to form group chats and use the service while not in a meeting
  • Screen share does not take up the entire screen which makes it difficult to sometimes view
GoTo Connect is an exceptional service but leaves some room for improvement in its application interface. With the recent redesign of the application, many users are struggling to learn where common actions have been moved to. However, once the service is running and has been learned it is a powerful tool to help bridge the company closers vs using conventional email.
